My friend Tom showed me how to make a delicious toastie last week - white chocolate - yum! He also made a banana one, which was also fab. So what if you combine them?
I haven't tried this yet, so make it and rate it.
You will need:
4 medium slices white bread 4 squares white chocolate 1 banana
Method:
1. Take the bread and butter one side of each slice. Put two slices to one side. 2. On the other two slices, place the white chocolate (2 squares each). 3. Cut the banana in half. Slice it down it's length rather than chop it into discs. 4. Place the slices of banana around the squares of chocolate. The amount of banana you use is up to you, but be careful not to add too much. 5. Place the bread slices you set aside earlier on top of the other slices, butter-side-up, and firm down. 6. Put the sandwiches into your toastie-maker and cook until golden brown and piping hot. 7. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
You can make this under the grill, but the advantage with a toastie-maker is that the sandwich is sealed. Otherwise, the chocolate might run out.
